Engineered for environments with low and variable water levels, this lift offers a substantial 64" lift height, providing ample cradle travel and eliminating the need to relocate the lift to shallower or deeper areas. Its large, tapered pads or feet are designed for easy maneuverability across various surfaces and lakebeds, preventing snagging or sinking. This feature is especially beneficial for seasonal installation and removal.
CraftLander lifts stand out for their ease of operation, thanks to their unique "Positive Drive Winch," which is chain-driven and equipped with roller bearings. Unlike many competitors that use standard, third-party winches, CraftLander is among the select few manufacturers that custom-create their vertical lift winch assemblies specifically for their models. The 4,500 lb models feature a 16:1 winch ratio, requiring 32 turns of the wheel for one full revolution of the drum, effectively raising the lift approximately 1 inch for every 2 turns of the wheel.
BUILD YOUR HOIST PACKAGE
This CraftLander Hoist can be equipped for virtually any watercraft style and a spectrum of lakefront conditions. With a wide variety of equipment accessories, the unit can be configured to suit your needs. While choosing your hoist configuration, please review the following options that this unit can be configured with. These options are selected above and allow you to configure the new hoist to your needs.
This section provides a description to the various options that you can have this hoist equipped with. These options are selected above the "Add to Cart" button, which allows you to build the configuration that you want.
EXTENSION LEG OPTIONS: Freestanding Lifts such as this model utilize four independently adjustable legs which are inserted into the corner columns of the hoist. When installed, they allow you to adjust the height of the lift at each of the corners so that you can achieve a level plane across the hoist. Attached to each leg is a large base pad that will rest on the lake bottom.
STANDARD LEG - the standard leg option includes 54" legs (overall length) that provide 38" of usable height. The leg uses a large foot pad for stability and hitch pins for height adjustment. This telescoping design allows for proper installation in a variety of water depths up to 7 feet deep.
DEEP WATER LEGS - the longer adjustable 72" leg extensions provide 53" of usable height. These are used for deeper water and are a much heavier-duty extrusion. The leg uses a large foot pad for stability and hitch pins for height adjustment. This telescoping design allows for proper installation in a variety of water depths up to 8.5 feet deep.
BOAT SUPPORT OPTIONS: This hoist can be equipped with a variety of support hardware options. The following options are designed for particular watercraft hull designs. Boat Support options include complete hardware kits that are mounted to the moving cradle of the lift and are contact and support your boat.
STANDARD 10' VINYL / ALUMINUM HULL BUNK KIT - This configuration is well suited for single hull designs, including flat bottom, round bottom, and shallow-V hull designs. The Vinyl/Aluminum Bunk includes two individual aluminum extrusion bunk rails covered with a non-abrasive vinyl. These bunks are maintenance-free and do not trap lake sediment like older-style carpeted lumber bunks. The brackets allow the bunks to be adjusted across the cradle, customizing it to fit your boat.
SKI 10' VINYL / ALUMINUM HULL BUNK KIT - This configuration is well suited for single hull designs and is similar to the Standard bunk option above. However, the Ski version offers additional height clearance over the cradle beam so that the tracking skegs (fins located on the underside of ski and some wakeboard boats) clear the cradle on entering the lift. This bunk configuration is well suited for Deep-V and Ski / Wake style watercraft. The Vinyl/Aluminum Bunk includes two individual aluminum extrusion bunk rails covered with a non-abrasive vinyl. These Bunks are maintenance-free and do not trap lake sediment like older-style carpeted lumber bunks.
PONTOON RACK – This configuration is used with Pontoons and sometimes with Tritoon boat designs. When set up correctly, this is the easiest way to park a pontoon on a vertical lift. The pontoon rack includes four vertical cradle-mounted aluminum assemblies. The assemblies are in pairs and 2" x 10" x 14' non-treated lumber is used to span between each pair of assemblies. This creates the support that lifts from beneath the deck of your pontoon or tritoon. The lumber is not included and must be supplied by the customer. Pontoon rack systems such as this have been widely used for a number of years due to their basic design and user-friendliness.
VINYL / ALUMINUM PONTOON SADDLE BUNK KIT - Available in 10' and 12' in length, these bunks are well suited for pontoons and tritoons. The kit includes two sets of aluminum extrusion bunk rails covered with non-abrasive vinyl and two sets of saddle brackets that allow a pair of bunks to span between the lift I-beams and fit the round pontoon perfectly. We add an additional set for tritoons as long as all three toons are the same size. The Vinyl/Aluminum Bunks are maintenance-free and do not trap lake sediment like older-style carpeted lumber bunks. When installed, each set of bunks are located on the exterior of the cradle and are designed to support the underside of toons.
TRITOON VINYL/ALUMINUM TRIPLE BUNK KIT - This configuration is well suited for Tritoons. This kit includes two 12' bunk sets for the outside toons and one 10' bunk set for the center toon. The Vinyl/Aluminum bunks are maintenance-free and do not trap lake sediment like older-style carpeted lumber bunks. When installed, this system allows for the support of three toons.
LOADING GUIDE OPTIONS
Loading guides are optional accessories that can be added to your lift at any time. They are highly recommended for those in rough and windy areas or for inexperienced drivers. They are designed to assist with leaving and parking your boat by providing a "guide" aid to keep you centrally located within the hoist frame.
15' HEAVY DUTY VERTICAL LOAD GUIDES - Craftlander's New Vertical Load Guides are 15' long and utilize six or eight rigid aluminum uprights with PVC covers. Each upright can be attached anywhere along the side rail. Vertical load guides are the best way to protect your boat and make contact where the boat is designed to take impact. This guide kit is specifically designed to fit a 4-inch wide I-beam, making it compatible with Craftlander vertical lifts ranging in capacity from 2,500 to 8,000 lbs. It works great for larger wakeboard boats.
FULL LENGTH CARPETED SIDE GUIDES - Carpeted loading/centering guides consist of four heavy-duty aluminum upright brackets that attach to the I-Beam of the hoist, which support carpeted lumber rails with steel reinforcement backer plates that span the full length of the hoist on both interior sides. The carpeted rails act as a centering guide for positioning on the hoist safely. This guide option is not recommended for watercraft with side hull decals. This guide if it comes in contact with decal stickers, will cause damage to the decal.
FOAM POST CENTERING GUIDE - One of the most traditional centering guides, these are mounted at the four corners of the lifting platform. This centering device provides four soft upright posts that assist with keeping your watercraft centered on the hoist. Foam Post Guides are available in a set of two or four guides and are safe for virtually any watercraft style.
MOTOR STOP OPTIONS
Motor Stops are another optional style of parking aid that is designed to help with parking a watercraft. Motor Stops help prevent "overshooting" the parking location. The motor stop is unsuitable for wake and ski-style watercraft with drive shaft props and rudders.
MOTOR STOP - Mounted to the stern end rack beam and assists with stopping your watercraft and prevents your boat from overrunning the lift.
