FLOATING DOCK ANCHORING OPTIONS
There are a few options available for anchoring this floating dock in place.
POLY PIPE BRACKETS - The first and most popular method is to use 2" schedule 40 galvanized pipe (2 3/8" OD / 2" ID) od pipe and the poly pipe brackets. This keeps the dock in the same position and allows the dock to lower and raise with any fluctuation in water levels.
DEAD WEIGHT ANCHOR - A Dead Weight anchor can be used to when water depths are too deep for posts. With this option, you will use a chain guide bracket or a chain anchor plate.
STIFF ARM BRACKETS - Stiff Arm brackets can be used and come with a bracket that attaches to your dock and one to a post on shore. A 2" pipe then connects the brackets and keeps helps to keep the dock in place. This is a good option when the dock runs close and parallel to the shoreline.
PILING HOOP - The last option is the Pile Hoop which allows someone to use 8", 10" and 12" pilings to anchor the dock in place. This is a great option if you have existing pilings you would like to use.
