CanDock Sliding Anchorage H Beam Aluminum
This anchor is designed for calm environments with significant water level fluctuations. It features an 8' tall "H" extrusion made from 1/4" thick material, enabling the dock to move smoothly along its entire length while maintaining secure and stable anchoring. It is particularly suited for straight concrete walls, such as those found in canals or marinas.
Installation Guidelines
- Shoreline Securing - At least 60% of the H-beamâs total length must be securely attached to the shoreline structure (e.g., seawall). While securing the bottom portion of the H-beam to the existing structure may not always be feasible, a minimum of 60% of the length must be firmly anchored.
- Vertical Alignment - Ensure all H-beams are perfectly vertical upon installation. Using a level is highly recommended for accurate placement.
- Environmental Suitability - The sliding anchor H-beam is designed for use in protected environments where wave heights do not exceed 2 feet. Excessive wave action may result in premature wear of the dock components, as the Candock piling system offers limited flexibility.
