This perforated plate allows for easy, single-person adjustment of an anchor chain. Mounted on the side of the Candock, the chain is typically accessible without the need to go underwater. To adjust, simply position the chain in the appropriate notch, secure it, and lock it in place with a shackle to ensure everything stays firmly in place.
