CanDock Modular Kayak Rack Two Side Base
The CanDock Modular Kayak Rack Base Kit is designed for a two-sided kayak rack. Sold as a pair, the kit requires four kayak mounting pins to serve as attachment points for the rack bases. The bases are secured to these pins, which are available in gray or tan to match the color of your dock.
How the Kayak Rack Installs

Determine Placement: Identify the location for the modular kayak rack on the dock.

Remove Existing Connecting Pins: Remove the regular connecting pins (4x) at the mounting points on the dock.

Insert Kayak Rack Mounting Pins: Replace the regular pins with the kayak rack mounting pins, which will serve as the mounting points for the kayak rack bases.
- Begin screwing the pins in by hand.
- Tighten them manually using the provided pin key once properly inserted.

Secure Kayak Rack Bases: Position the kayak rack bases onto the mounting pins and secure them firmly.

Attach Uprights and Cross Braces: Secure the vertical uprights and horizontal cross braces onto the kayak rack bases.

Install Kayak Rack Arms: Attach and secure the kayak rack arms to the uprights to complete the assembly.
Weight Guidelines
- Maximum Weight Per Vessel Space: 75 lbs
- Maximum Weight for One-Side Rack Assembly: 300 lbs
- Maximum Weight for Two-Sides Rack Assembly: 600 lbs (ensure weight is evenly distributed between both sides).
