About the CanDock Service Channel System

 

The CanDock Service Channel System uses the same assembly principles as the regular floating dock system, providing modular solutions for marina service channels, outlets (freshwater and electrical), and the LED light system. It consists of:

• Service Cube Base - The foundational component.
• Service Cube Cover - Works with the base to integrate features such as LED lights.

The system is secured using CanDock's Nut and Bolt/Screw system, with coupling hardware (e.g., Connecting Pins and Sliding Nuts) varying based on the assembly points location. These parts ensure a secure and modular floating dock setup.

Installation Procedure

1. Assemble Cubes - Start by assembling the cubes without attaching the covers to the G2 Service Cube bases.
2. Test the Control Unit - Plug in the control unit and test it. To activate the lights, cover the photocell (sensor) under bright light. Keep the control unit "ON" during installation to confirm the lights are functioning as you add them.
3. Install Lights
   • Begin at the control unit and insert the first light into the pre-drilled hole of the translucent cover.
   • Ensure the seal's slot fits firmly into place.
   • Continue adding lights in sequence, starting from the shore and working outward.
4. Connect Lights
   • Align the notches on the female and male connectors.
   • Push the male connector in until it touches the rubber gasket to ensure a dust- and water-tight seal.
5. Attach Covers After installing a few lights, secure the translucent covers to the cubes using the connecting pins.
