CanDock Tile Series Service Cube Dock System
Discover the difference with CanDock’s advanced tiles, designed for a remarkably sturdy and comfortable walking surface that exceeds the stability of standard G2 cubes. The Tiles Series integrates seamlessly with the LinQ range of accessories, allowing you to customize your dock for leisure, entertainment, or water sports. With compatibility for a variety of accessories, CanDock transforms your waterfront into a versatile and elevated experience. Combining injected polypropylene tiles with innovative design, our system delivers unmatched durability, flexibility, and sophistication.

All CanDock components are secured with a reliable Nut and Bolt/Screw system. The specific coupling hardware used may vary based on the project’s specifications and assembly location. For modules within the dock’s perimeter, Connecting Pins and Sliding Nuts are utilized. For the outer edges, Bolts for Cube and Nuts are used to ensure a secure and stable structure. The CanDock Service Channel System follows the same assembly principles as the standard G2 floating dock system while offering enhanced functionality. This system uses a two-piece cube design (Service Cube Base and Service Cube Cover) that enables the seamless integration of marina service channels, freshwater outlets, electrical services, and our LED lighting system into the modular floating dock.
When designing a CanDock system with Service Cubes and Tiles, keep in mind that edge cubes or regular cubes on the exterior perimeter are mandatory, as tiles are secured on top using four connecting pins. The tile cover must be surrounded on all four sides by other cubes, such as regular cubes, service cubes, corner cubes, or edge cubes. The four surrounding connecting pins, particularly their slanted necks, compress the cover onto the cube's base, creating a sturdy and robust assembly.
TILE OPTIONS
Service Cube Base - These cubes form the foundation of the Service Cube and Tile system. Constructed from premium recycled HDPE, they offer exceptional durability. Like the standard G2 Cubes, the base features tabs that serve as the connecting system for the dock structure. The cubes also include watertight plugs located between Tab #1 and Tab #4 on their sides. Made from breathable material, these plugs act as pressure release valves to prevent deformation caused by changes in temperature or altitude. Additionally, they reduce condensation inside the cubes, ensuring long-lasting and reliable performance.
CanDock Standard Tile - These injection-molded tiles are perfect for those seeking a hard, firm walking surface without any bounce. They not only provide an excellent walking surface for your dock but also make it easy to run services like electricity or fresh water discreetly beneath the dock system. This allows for seamless integration of features like power pedestals or powering your boat lift, offering a level of convenience unmatched by other dock systems. Additionally, a row of these tiles can be added to an existing system, delivering the same benefits and enhancing functionality.
CanDock LinQ Tile - LinQ Tiles function just like the Standard Tiles, providing the same sturdy walking surface, but with the added advantage of integrating compatible Sea-Doo LinQ accessories. These accessories easily lock into the top of the tile, just as they do with the Sea-Doo Switch and other watercraft using the LinQ system. Wondering where to purchase LinQ accessories? They are available from any authorized BRP distributor or directly on the BRP website in the accessories section.
CanDock Translucent Tile - The translucent tiles allow for the integration of LED lighting, creating a truly unique dock system unlike any other on the market. These tiles are a standout feature of the CanDock Tile Series and offer an innovative way to illuminate your dock’s surface. By embedding internal LED lights within the translucent tiles, you get an affordable, reliable, and durable solution to customize your floating dock system. These lights are available in a full spectrum of vibrant RGB colors, adding a stunning visual element to your dock.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
- Prepare all items and unbox them near your assembly area (cube bases, cube covers, connecting pins, sliding nuts, spacers, and tools).
- Insert a Sliding Nut into the lowest tab available at each connecting point.
- Position the sections next to each other, ensuring the tabs overlap correctly.
- Place the Tile Covers onto the cube bases.
- Insert the Connecting Pins into the tabs as you progress and manually engage the threads.
- Once all cubes are connected, firmly tighten the Connecting Pins to secure the assembly.
- Add Bolt for Cube and Nut assemblies around the entire perimeter of your dock. If necessary, fill any empty layers between the tabs with spacers.
- For Services Conduits (e.g., water and electricity), Power Pedestals, or the LED Light System:
- Route electrical cables, water pipes, or the LED light system at various stages of the assembly.
- Determine the method based on the application, geometries, and environment of your project.
- Contact your local distributor or CanDock headquarters for additional guidance.
The tiles are made from polypropylene reinforced with 10% fiberglass (PP10), offering enhanced durability and rigidity. Each tile measures 2 5/8″ in height, 18 13/16″ in length, and 18 13/16″ in width, with a weight of 10.89 lbs per unit.
