CanDock Wall Anchoring System
Wall anchorage systems allow you to securely anchor your dock to a vertical wall. Made of painted steel, this system is designed to swivel and follow wave motion, ensuring quiet operation thanks to its nylon pivots. Detaching the dock from its anchorage point is quick and easy, taking only a few seconds. However, because this system is fixed, it is not suitable for environments with water level variations. Additionally, it can be used to anchor Candock systems or Jet Slides to other types of floating docks.
Wall Anchor Guidelines
- Purpose - Wall anchors are specifically designed to connect a Candock system to another type of floating dock.
- Connection Surface Requirements - The connection point on the other floating dock must provide a flat, sturdy, and robust surface between 10 cm (4") and 20 cm (8") above the waterline for secure mounting of the plate.
- Freeboard Adjustments - If the existing dock's freeboard is higher than the Candock system, an Extension Plate for Wall Anchorages is required. This plate provides additional adjustment, accommodating freeboard heights up to 24".
- Extension Plate Hardware - When purchasing the extension plate, all necessary hardware for securing the wall anchor to the plate is included.
- Installation - Wall anchors should always be installed in pairs or more for maximum stability.
