This unit is also designed with a solid aluminum extended block housing that strengthens and supports the back plate. This reduces heat build-up caused by friction and keeps the worm gear greased and aligned. Sleeve accepts 2 3/8 inch OD drive pipe. Includes a GFCI plug with 5 FT cord length.
Drum switches are used to turn the hoist on and off and we offer two different types of switches. Maintain switches (also know as Lock-On) will stay in position until manually turned off so you have to pay attention while the lift is raising or lowering. Spring switches (also referred to as Momentary) require the user hold the handle in the up or down position to lift or lower the boat and the switch will turn itself off when pressure is released from handle. The switches feature durable housings with
extended handles for easy grip and wiring directions that work with most brands of boat hoist motors.
Pre-assembled and tested under load from the factory. All electrical parts are UL and NEMA compliant. Lifetime warranty on gear plate assembly and 1 year warranty on motor.
