To create complete dock support, you will need to add the following;
- 1 - MaxLoc 3'-5' adjustable cross-arm assembly with integrated cross-arm clamps and stringer brackets
- 2 - 2" OD vertical dock posts (choose the correct length for your water depth)
- 2 - standard base pads, large base pads or dock post augers
POST ATTACHMENT OPTIONS
Standard 7.5" x 7.5" aluminum bottom plates work well in sand and other solid lake bottoms. Not recommended for extremely deep mud or muck.
Large 12" x 12" aluminum bottom plates provide a larger footprint for the leg and works better in area with softer lake bottoms, may not work well in extremely deep mud or muck.
Aluminum Dock Augers are recommended from supports that will have boats or watercraft tied to it. Augers make installing the support more work than using just bottom plates. The auger helps to anchor the dock to the lake bottom. You can also use a combination of base pad and auger for maximum support.
For single section runs in water depths exceeding 5'' or very soft lake bottom conditions, you may want to consider the X-Brace add-on kit for increased stability and section sway reduction.
