OVERVIEW

SHOREMASTER POLYDOCK LIGHT DUTY POLY PIPE BRACKET - TAN

The Light Duty Poly Pipe Bracket attaches to the recessed exterior channel of an existing ShoreMaster PolyDock and the bow end of ShorePort Sections. When attached the Poly Bracket is used to anchor the section into location with the use of a applicable pipe/post (pipe not included). The collar installed on each Poly Pipe Bracket allows your the floating section to adjust when water levels fluctuate.

ShoreMaster poly pipe brackets are designed to easily accept poles from 2” to 4-1/2” in diameter. The appropriate diameter, quantity and sunken depth of pole will depend on your weather conditions and water depth. Poles may be constructed from a variety of materials, including galvanized steel, wood, and concrete. Oftentimes, when galvanized steel piping is used, a PVC covering will be placed over the top to improve the appearance. Most poles for residential applications may be sunk by hand using a sledgehammer. Auger tips for the pipe are also available to auger the pipe into the lake bottom. The wear plate will come standard with a 2-7/8” opening for 2-3/8” outside diameter pipe. The opening may be cut to any size up to 5” in diameter (to accommodate a pole up to 4-1/2“ outside diameter)

POLY DOCK APPLICATIONS

  • The bracket can be attached to any outer face of an existing Poly Dock Section
  • Light-Duty Pipe Brackets should be used in low wake (12" or less) environments and a typically recommended to be used every 20' of dock and at the end sections of a system.
  • For areas with rougher wake conditions, we suggest the use of the Large Poly Pipe Bracket

SHOREPORT APPLICATIONS

  • This bracket attaches to the Bow End recessed channel on an existing ShorePort.
  • The use of the Light Duty Poly Pipe Bracket is recommended when mounting the RhinoPort parallel or perpendicular to a freestanding dock, floating dock or seawall in low wake areas (12" or less).
  • When placing the RhinoPort parallel to a freestanding dock, floating dock or seawall the use of one Light Duty Poly Pipe bracket and one Rear Poly Pipe bracket (rear bracket sold separately) is required.
  • For areas with rougher wake conditions, we suggest the use of the Large Poly Pipe Bracket

For the best results when using any of the offered Poly Pipe Brackets, it is recommended that the RhinoPort Universal Stand-Off Plate Assembly (sold separately) is also used. The Universal Stand-Off Plates are used as a connection bracket that mounts directly to your dock or seawall and also secures to the top of the pipe used for anchoring. This creates a rigid connection between the pipe and your dock or seawall.
